Talent Acquisition Specialist : Miami, FL

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will take the lead on recruiting, screening and onboarding attorneys for the Miami office of a global law firm. The successful hire will be a detail-oriented person with a professional demeanor and drive.

Responsibilities:

Full life cycle recruiting from initial phone screen through on-boarding

Assess applications, pre-screen, manage interview schedule, debrief and next steps

Fully screen applicants both on the phone and in person.

Promote job openings using various tools, including job boards, social media and Linkedin

Develop strong business relationships within the firm, as well as with all applicants and hires

Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source attorneys on an ongoing basis

Learn and embrace the firm’s culture and criteria for new hires

Create a Maintaining and updating ATS on a daily basis

Submit weekly reports on status of searches, candidates, hires

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, gathering information and completing appropriate paperwork

Provide outstanding customer service at all times

Attend local legal and law firm events

Experience:

5+ years of recruiting experience, including work at a law firm or legal recruiting agency

Experience identifying, recruiting and interviewing legal talent both in-person and via video

Manage the hiring process from initial reach out to interviews and hire

Experience using multiple tools and platforms to promote new openings.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize time and work efficiently

Have a significant legal network in Linkedin and the Florida legal community

Work well with all levels of an organization and be the consummate professional

Enjoys working with people, getting things done and working through challenges by providing solutions

Be the type of person who can follow a process but also take initiative to implement process improvements that will result in increased efficiencies and improvements in talent acquisition initiatives

Ability to work independently

Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, pre-law or related field preferred
